The Save Pentney Action Group (SPAG), in collaboration with the Save Pentney website have been working furiously behind the scenes since March on behalf of the entire Pentney community. We've been conducting in depth research, meeting with industry experts and specialists, collaborating with neighbouring groups and applying gentle pressure where needed in an effort to save our beautiful village from destruction.

As we're doing this on your behalf, we thought it was only fair that we take some time out to meet the people of Pentney face to face, so we can bring everyone up to date and let the entire community know how the campaign is progressing.

So, we would like to invite everyone in the region to come along to the Village Hall on Saturday 12th July between 1-pm and 4-pm to attend an informal Open Forum, where all members of the Save Pentney Action Group will be available to answer any questions or queries you may have regarding the MIN93 quarry proposal and the fight to have it stopped.

We'll be providing FREE refreshments, tea, coffee, soft drinks, cake and biscuits, and we hope to create a friendly and welcoming environment for visitors.
We'll also be providing FREE guided tours of the historic church of St Mary Magdalene all throughout the afternoon to help people understand exactly what's at risk if we lose. These tours will be conducted by the Church Warden.
And lastly, if anybody wants a free Save Pentney car sticker, these will be available on the day too. Just ask and we'll be happy to provide one, and even help you to apply it to your car if you need it.
